Line Operator Job description Job Responsibilities Ensure product specifications and procedures are followed on a daily basis to ensure finished products are of the highest quality and purity. Clean and maintain equipment Record operational and production data on specified forms. Transfer materials, supplies, and products between work areas Unload mixtures into containers or onto conveyors for further processing. Add or mix chemicals and ingredients for processing, using hand tools or other devices. Take action and communicate with a manager when product levels might be low or running out Examine materials, ingredients, or products visually or with hands, in order to ensure conformance to established standards. Observe production and monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. Read work orders to determine production specifications and information. Start machines to mix or blend ingredients following standardized procedures. Constantly look for ways to minimize waste and maximize efficiency. Package and palletize product according to standard procedure. Receive, inspect and process incoming stock and materials. Organize and retrieve stock as required by daily production schedule. Conduct inventory counts Clean and organize warehouse, clean rooms and surrounding areas. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Basic Math Skills 18 years of age or older Must be able to verbally communicate with managers and co-workers Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours) Must be able to understand and follow safety and sanitation procedures' ' Work Remotely No Job Type: Full-time Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour By applying to this job, you agree to receive periodic text messages from this employer and Homebase about your pending job application.
