Description
Some duties and responsibilities of the Housekeeping Houseperson position include:
Keep hotel public areas inside and out, clean and stocked throughout the shift as scheduled or instructed by Housekeeping management. Make deliveries to guest rooms for guest requested items such as amenities, rollaway beds, cribs, bedding, etc. and follow instructed procedures for entering a guest room when the room is occupied by a guest. Properly report maintenance problems found in the Hotel during your shift. Keep designated storage areas clean and orderly and follow instructions for stocking linen and/or supply closets. Complete any special projects as given by Housekeeping Management. Always look sharp as this is a “face the guest” position.
Some desired qualifications for the Housekeeping Houseperson position include:
Able to meet physical qualifications of the job, which include bending, twisting, lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling and long periods of standing. Able to work as part of a team to assist others to complete assignments. Previous Houseman, Room Attendant or building maintenance experience.
THIS CANDIDATE MUST BE BILINGUAL ENGLISH/SPANISH AND BE ABLE TO WORK ON THE WEEKENDS.
