Fashion Show starts at 8pm Welcome to DAUMOS’ Fashion Week, February 18th and 19th from 6pm to 11pm at Hibernian Hall. We are more than excited, overjoyed, grateful and delighted to announce the DAUMOS’ Fashion Week. The event will be held on the 18th and 19th February 2021 from 6:00pm to 11:00pm at the Hibernian Hall. Miss New York 2020 will be opening the show. The Collection to be presented by DAUMOS is entitled RISE UP. This collection was inspired by the nature capability of changing and adapting. It’s a tribute to all resilient women that had to overcome so much during this past year, facing the pandemic head on and doing what they do best. It’s a sexy, bold, and a provocative collection that explores different body shapes, and aims at striking the balance between commercial and conceptual, as well as classic and avant-garde. DAUMOS is owned by Marisa Babcock (mother) and Adalícia Virginia de Pina (daughter), both managing partners. Marisa Babcock was exposed to the art of tailoring and sewing, at a very young age. It became clear it was a passion when she married a Tailor at age of 22. Adalícia Virginia’s dad was a tailor; that had a huge influence on her choice of becoming a designer. Both mother and daughter started designing and making clothes for themselves and their friend as they studied and worked other areas. Marisa migrated from Cabo Verde to the Unites States of America 20 years ago and her daughter Adalícia joined her 6 years ago. They instantly rekindle the idea of working together in the fashion business. The high demand to design and make clothes led to the creation of DAUMOS Boutique & Atelier in 2018.
