Alumnus ('96) Abraham (Abe) Martinez, Director of Photography for USA Networks "Queen of the South" and Showtime's "The Chi ." Abraham (Abe) Martinez is a UNT RTVF graduate (class of '96) and a Texas native. He will discuss his career path and share some amazing stories! Abe is known for his work as the Director of Photography for USA Networks "Queen of the South", Showtime's "The Chi" and for Netflix's "Cobra KAI". He also worked on films such as Spider-Man 3 (2007), Fast and Furious (2009), ALI (2001), and the documentaries: The American Meme (2018) and What We Started (2017) both for Netflix. Abraham is based in Los Angeles, California and is a member of the International Cinematographer's Guild.
