MMOPA will host a FREE one-day, fly-in/fly-out event on Saturday, Feb. 5 at the Nampa Municipal Airport (KMAN), Nampa, ID.

CFI David McVinnie will conduct an accident brief, discussing and analyzing PA46 accidents over the last 2 years, as well as training issues that may have impacted the outcomes.
Also speaking (if transportation can be arranged) is CFI and training/transition expert Travis Holland, president of Shepherd Aero in Bellingham, WA.
Following the presentations, we will conduct an "Ask the CFI," allowing members to ask questions or seek input on specific flight scenarios or go/no-go situations.
Lunch will be served courtesy of MMOPA.
Information about KMAN:
This is a non-towered airport west of Boise Gowen Field (BOI). It has a single 5,000-ft by 75 ft runway. Our event will be held at the CAP building adjacent to the main terminal/FBO building.
Meet Your Host and Speaker:
Dave McVinnie is a 25-year Master Flight Instructor, a 2020 MMOPA Master Aviator, a FAAST Representative and a Designated Pilot Examiner with over 12,000 hours and 35-years of instructional experience. The FAA selected him as CFI of the Year in 1995, 2009 & 2014. Dave currently serves on the MMOPA Safety Committee and has specialized in the PA46 for the past 20 years.
