These wines, typically only available for tasting in their home of Tuscany, Italy, are brought to you for a night of elegance, extravagance, and luxury. Taste wines mastered by the Torciano family for centuries, enjoy dinner in the beautiful Botanic Gardens, and visit Tuscany even if just for a night. This event benefits the JC Runyon Foundation, a Memphis, TN based scholarship foundation for students choosing to take the next step after battles with mental health. The JC Runyon Foundation has been supporting students in Tennessee and the USA since 2010 in honor of Dr. Jack "JC" Runyon, beloved psychologist with a passion for helping young people in their fight against mental illness. All ticket purchases and a portion of all wine purchases of the night will directly support this foundation and their mission to provide a second chance to students. Founded in 1720, Bartolomeo Giachi, original owner and founder, handed down the art of making and producing wine to his son Emanuele who, in turn, passed the skills on to his son Gaetano, then to his son Angelo, followed by Alfredo Romano and then finally Pierluigi Giachi. The Giachi family joins us for an evening immersed in the fine art they have mastered for so many years in tasting their wines, learning the history, and meeting those responsible for the exquisite product. After your tasting, you will have the opportunity to bring home your own bottle - or bottles - of Tenuta Torciano wines. These bottles are available only in Italy or shipped to your home, until now.
