Ocean is two years old this month! He is fixed, up to date on all vaccines including the ones you need for boarding, he is your typical heeler, he’s very smart, he is left out inside my home all day and night and does not destroy anything, fully house trained, fully kennel trained, knows commands like sit and lay down and kennel, he will load in his kennel without a second thought, the issue we are having is we have a new baby and he is just not her biggest fan, he is scared of her and we have also moved into an apartment which does not fit a heelers lifestyle and he seems unhappy, we love him and want him to go to a good home where he can run around or atleast have a yard to play in….. I would prefer no small children and with dogs so far he likes female dogs, but unless they are introduced inside the home… he acts very rude and growls at strangers and strange dogs! He is A GUARD DOG! I would also not recommend chickens or cats as he was not raised with them and he would kill squirrels when we had a yard….. willing to let him do an overnight visit and will take him back at any point in his life if it doesn’t work out ….He weighs 43lbs…has to also be kept inside, he’s not an all day outside dog ….
