Saturday, 2/5/22 - M.Bert Story Research Building- FREE to attend- Lots of great door prizes & giveaways The Georgia Cancer Center has teamed up with local healthcare providers and agencies to raise awareness of maternal health in the African American community and to provide useful resources to moms here in the CSRA. With a goal to encourage, empower, educate and equip African American women to make decisions to improve their health and the health of their babies. We have a vision to work to bring mothers, providers, advocates, families and friends together to share information, form bonds and provide insight that brings about positive changes for the health of African American women now and in the future. We see this as an intergenerational collaboration between moms and the healthcare community to bring to light and promote healthy behaviors among Black women. So come be encouraged, empowered and equipped to make healthy decisions for yourself, your baby and for the Black community!
