Description

Celebrate Chinese New Year! Twilight Walking Tour of Chinatown Join my fellow tour guide, historian and neon expert Eric Evavold and me in exploring the lore of L.A.'s historic Chinatown--and celebrating Chinese New Year! The brilliance of the neon lights of Chinatown will regale us as we discover the past and present of the first modern American Chinatown owned and planned by the Chinese community. We'll view other historic neon delights of downtown Los Angeles along our way. We'll also have some time to shop in Chinatown Central Plaza. We'll finish early enough for you to enjoy Chinese food in one of the many restaurants in this district. We recommend Yang Chow! Specific directions on where to meet will be given when you RSVP. We are limited to 20 participants. Please, no children or pets. The tour is $35 (plus $2.40 Eventbrite fees). If you would like to avoid the additional Eventbrite fees, email me at [email protected] to pay through Venmo. *Please note that all tours require 24 hours' cancellation notification for refund. You will be asked to sign a waiver of liability. We look forward to having you join us! Welcome to L.A.
