Please join us for a night of celebrating 10 years of Peace of Thread! Join us on Saturday March 19th as we celebrate 10 years of Peace of Thread. We are excited and blessed to see how far we have come with Peace of Thread. We have been able to to give a voice to many beautiful refugee women with a job so that she can help her family assimilate well here in the U.S. Please join us and enjoy a night of wonderful food from around the world, a keynote speaker who will empower us with her own personal testimony, bid on around 25 silent auctions items ranging from a sunset cruise on Lake Lanier to a lovely handmade quilt, experience what it's like to be in a refugee camp with VR technology, and design your own one-of-a-kind key fob! As you celebrate with us, we also want to say thank you to all of you who support us. We could not have made it the last 10 years without you. And we look forward to you joining us on our journey of the next 10! Peace of Thread is a non-profit organization that empowers women who have come to the United States seeking refuge from war, persecution and poverty to make a new life for themselves and their family. The women of Peace of Thread hand make high quality, one-of-a-kind handbags and accessories using top-of-the-line, up-cycled fabrics from the Atlanta Decorative Arts Center.
