Homeschool families can enjoy a day just for them with activities for the whole family. In celebration of Women's History month, this themed day will focus on the women of the Polk family. Visitors can enjoy a themed tour focusing on First Lady Sarah, mother Jane, founder of the Polk Association Sallee and enslaved women Matilda. Children -boys and girls a like- can try their hand at household chores and create a themed craft.
