Press release from the JAX Chamber: January 25, 2022 Jacksonville, FL – (January 25, 2022) Jacksonville Women's Business Center (JWBC), a resource provider specializing in education, networking, and mentorship, has announced that its 2022 Advisory Board Chair as commercial banking expert, Kara Garces. Garces, who has worked closely with the JWBC in several aspects brings a broad set of skills to enhance the reach of the WBC program in Northeast Florida. "Proudly serving on the JWBC Advisory Board since 2018 truly has been a fulfilling and rewarding experience," said Kara Garces. "It has enabled me to better understand women's entrepreneurship and the resources available for their businesses. I'm so inspired by women business owners in my community who continue to strive for success." "Kara has a passion for assisting small business owners and is always willing to share ideas and provide mentorship," JWBC Director Jackie Perrault said. "Her strong relationships in the community and invaluable connections will accelerate JWBC's mission of being world-class." Garces is currently the Business Development Officer, SBA Lending Group with Wells Fargo in its Jacksonville, FL office. She is a lending professional who is responsible for providing both SBA 7(a) and 504 loan products to eligible business customers. Garces has volunteered service on the JWBC ATHENAPowerLink Governing body and Advisory Board for over five years and has developed customer relationships and provided insight to the clients JWBC serves.
