The Machine Shop Helper will assist personnel within the machine shop with general transport, maintenance, and troubleshooting duties. Interested? Please follow the link and apply: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: -Ensure the smooth transition and transport of parts from the machine shop to inspection. -Assist with maintenance on machines within the Machine Shop. -Ensure machine shop is clean in appearance including removing trash and sweeping as required. -Successfully operate forklift and move pallets of goods throughout shop floor. -Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: -High school graduate or G.E.D. required. -Minimum of two years of general assistant experience in a large machinery/equipment-manufacturing environment strongly desired. -Basic mathematical skills and ability to read a tape measure required. -Forklift and overhead crane experience a plus -Valid state driver's license in good standing is required. -Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to work independently and within a team environment, proactively contributing ideas to improve operations required. -Demonstrated ability to be adaptable, tactful, and self-directed when faced with tight deadlines and fluid environments required. -Basic oral and written communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate in English required. -Must possess a proven history of being reliable with excellent attendance. -Conduct oneself with the highest level of professionalism and ethical stand
