Preferred qualifications: Skilled in the craft of a concrete finisher and forming. Broom, Exposed is most common, Sand and Stamp is a + but not required,Training available. Possession of a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driver’s abstract prior to employment. Physical ability to complete manual labor tasks in an outdoor environment. Experienced driving larger vehicles and construction equipment. Experience with power tools and pneumatic tools. Expert with project management related to Concrete work. Expert with using time tracking, email and project management software a plus. Bachelor’s degree and one year of relevant experience in a construction or other related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the essential functions of work. Expert organizational skills, including the ability to set priorities, juggle multiple tasks, and meet assigned deadlines. Highly self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team. Expert problem solving and communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This position works closely with management and job leads to ensure quality work, ontime completions within budget and satisfied customers. This position will ensure efficient staffing for jobs and onsite job management of workers and enforce safety and quality standards. This position will make sure all legal, permitting, code and contractual requirements are complete before work starts. This position documents progres and focuses on process improvements and maintaining quality. This position also oversees safety. This position will be expected to learn and become experienced in company software including Asana for project management, QuickBooks online for time tracking, scheduling and job costing and Pandadoc for contract and document management. New software may be added or adapted to meet business needs. This description helps guide the scope of work, responsibilities, and how the job supports/contributes to company vision, mission, and values. Communication with team leaders, Office management, and clients (as appropriate) to understand all aspects of the project, problem solve issues and meet time frames and budget goals. Planning work schedules, reviewing project milestones and problem solving any issues that come up to make sure the project can be completed. Track project material and labor cost and find ways to minimize expenses. Communicating status updates and quality control reports from team leaders with clients and management. Coordinating project planning as necessary, including completing permitting, reading blueprints and other necessary paperwork. Ensure the job is within scope of the contract and manage change orders and client disputes. Support team leads and workers with planning daily tasks and work schedules to minimize schedule conflicts and wasted time. Communicate and enforce site safety plans and procedures. Support employee time tracking and timecard approval. Manage worker schedule including time off requests. Ensure equipment and materials are well taken care of, organized, clean and functional, including vehicles. Oversee materials tracking and maintenance as well as inventory of supplies including ordering and delivery to meet job completion schedule. Other duties as assigned and needed.
