Press release from City of Fort Worth: January 24, 2022 The Fort Worth City Council will meet at 10 a.m. Jan. 25 in the Council Chamber on the second floor of City Hall, 200 Texas St. Members will vote on a seven-year tax abatement with MP Magnetics LLC for the development of a 200,000-square-foot corporate office and manufacturing facility having a cost of at least $100 million, at 13840 Independence Parkway. Members will consider a resolution creating the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Committee, one of several committees made up of councilmembers. Mayor Mattie Parker will make a presentation to Hirofumi Murabayashi, consul general of Japan in Houston. There is one zoning case on the agenda. Members will vote on a seven-year tax abatement with MP Magnetics LLC for the development of a 200,000-square-foot corporate office and manufacturing facility having a cost of at least $100 million, at 13840 Independence Parkway.
