Press release from Sioux Falls School District: January 21, 2022 Kindergarten registration for the 2022-2023 school year begins February 1, 2022. If your child turns 5 on or before September 1, 2022, they are eligible to be part of the class of 2035! To register, existing families should use their existing Parent Portal Account. New families should register using the Online Registration System. More information can be found here. Here Comes Kindergarten Event At the Sioux Falls School District, we are committed to providing a safe, nurturing environment for your child to begin their educational journey. We understand this can be a time filled with emotion. To help ease the transition to the classroom for both parent and child, we have two upcoming opportunities that will surely answer any questions you may have and help resolve any anxieties associated with this major milestone. Here Comes Kindergarten, will be offered at Susan B. Anthony on Thursday, February 17th from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. This event will help you and your child learn more about the registration process, what a typical day will look like, kindergarten readiness, and much more. Child care will be available. Register for the Event Here! Kindergarten Open House Event A Kindergarten Open House will be held at your school on Thursday, March 3, 2022, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. This will be an opportunity to see your school before the fall of 2022, meet with teachers, learn about after-school opportunities, school lunch options, and much more.
