WESTERN SPRINGS, IL – Western Springs plans to resurface portions of five streets this year, paid for with state money. Here are the streets: Western Avenue, from Walnut to Willow streetsRace Street, just west of Western AvenuePark Place, from Grand to Woodland avenues46th Street, from Wolf Road to Gilbert AvenueLongmeadow Lane, from Grand Avenue to Ridgewood Drive The Village Board approved the choice of streets at its meeting Monday. The money is coming from gas taxes and Rebuild Illinois.
