JOLIET, IL — Students who attend Joliet Central and Joliet West High Schools will have an E-learning day on Wednesday while grade school and junior high students attending all Joliet Public School District 86 will not have any classes Wednesday. Troy Consolidated District 30-C students will also have E-learning activities Wednesday. All three Joliet school districts opted to cancel in-person learning because of extreme frigid temperatures predicted in the weather forecast. Joliet Township High School District 204 sent out the following email to parents, staff and students: "Due to weather concerns, tomorrow, Wednesday, January 26 is an Emergency E-Learning Day for students and staff.
