Press release from the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office: David Agee January 24, 2022 On Sunday January 23, 2022 at approximately 7:15pm Deputies at the jail found a 65-year-old man unresponsive in his cell.  The man was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased by medical personnel.  The man was being held on the medical floor and was in a cell by himself.  There were no signs of trauma or foul play.  The Jefferson County Coroners Office was notified of the death.  The mans identify is not being released at this time.
