WORCESTER, MA — An anonymous bomb threat prompted a full evacuation of the Lincoln Street Target store in Worcester on Monday night, according to police.
A person called in the threat just before 6 p.m. Monday. Worcester police and state police responded to the scene and conducted a full search with K9 dogs. The store reopened near 7:30 p.m. when police determined there was no bomb.
Worcester police did not announce any arrests related to the incident, and said in a news release late Monday that they are still searching for information about who called in the threat.
