Man Wounded In Worcester Shooting Near Green Hill Park

WORCESTER, MA — One person was seriously wounded early Tuesday morning in a shooting in a Worcester neighborhood between Green Hill Park and Lincoln Street. The 34-year-old victim was shot while he was sitting in the driver's seat of a car parked near 6 Forestdale Road, according to police. A person in the passenger seat was not injured, police said. Worcester police did not immediately announce any arrests connected to the shooting. In an unrelated incident this week, Worcester police arrested a 26-year-old Leominster man who brandished a gun during a dispute along Green Street. Police also recently responded to a shooting along Perry Avenue where two men sitting in a vehicle were wounded. Police did not immediately announce any arrests connected to that incident.
