Arizona Iron Furniture is currently seeking two new team members for the position of delivery driver / furniture mover. A typical day consists of loading up the days orders onto our delivery truck, driving to our customers house and unloading and setting up the furniture and/or cushions. This is as much a customer service position as it is a delivery position as you will be the last person that our customers deal with on their order and you will also often be collecting final payments from our customers, using a simple hand held payment system in most cases. ***Please note that this is not simply a driving job but also consists of mornings spent loading heavy furniture frames, picking, pulling, snipping cushions, etc. The other (second) half of the day is spent driving to customers houses and our stores and unloading and setting up To be considered for this position you must meet the following requirements: - VALID DRIVERS LICENSE with fairly clean driving history (no DUI, etc) *we will run report so no games please - Comfortable Driving a big box truck (this job will have you driving a 26' box truck/moving truck) - ABILITY TO LIFT and move heavy objects on a daily basis (our furniture is made of steel and iron) - POSITIVE ATTITUDE and ability to work well with others. We are a business comprised of mostly family and friends and look to build long term relationships, so a good attitude and friendly demeanor is a must. - RELIABLE and HONEST - Ability to cleanly pass a background criminal search (we can discuss some minor or old history, please address up front) - Solid Organizational Skills as you will be managing your days deliveries as well as handling payments _________________________________________________________________________________________________ We are a strong, growing company.
