Job Summary: This is a part time position (hours range from 20-40 per week). You will be responsible for setting up new motorcycles, dirtbikes and ATVs out of crates, detailing all incoming motorcycles for sale, maintaining each motorcycle’s cleanliness on the show floor, detailing service motorcycles as needed, light mechanical work and service writing as needed. For additional business information, please visit: Detailer Job Duties Include (but not limited to): • Uncrate and set up new vehicles • Wash and detail all incoming motorcycles to prepare them for sale • Wash and detail motorcycles for service department (if applicable) • Remove any parts per sales request to sell separately, tag and label appropriately • Maintain cleanliness of motorcycles on show floor • Complete training and begin work of light duty accessory installation and/or parts maintenance on motorcycles for service department • Move motorcycles around showroom • Miscellaneous help to all departments, including picking up parts, performing miscellaneous projects, shop cleanliness and maintenance • Assist parts department in selling parts online in off season • Maintain a clean and safe work environment Basic Requirements: • Motorcycle endorsement • Mechanical aptitude • Must be self-managing during slow times to ensure recurring daily, weekly and monthly tasks get completed Preferred Qualifications: • Mechanical experience • High School Diploma or GED • Have a passion for motorcycles • Knowledge of motorcycles and the commitment to continually develop knowledge. • Be able to work in a sometimes fast-paced retail environment, while staying on task Location: Eden Prairie, MN Travel: May include up to 5% domestic Core Values: Family, Premier, Passionate, Grow, Integrity Benefits after introduction period include: • Health benefits • IRA Match (similar to 401k) • Discounts on motorcycle parts, accessories, and service for your bike • Paid Time Off Compensation: Hourly wage of $10-$15 per hour, pending experience
