Seeking Composer - Part Time to Full Time

Los Angeles-based songwriting company seeking composer for full-time in-house position, beginning part time. We're looking for an excited, versatile composer for part time, independent contracting work leading to full-time, in-house employment for a project slated to begin around May. Part time work would include cue creation and getting acclimated to the team/learning the ropes in order to prep for the full-time work. Once full time, our candidate will lead and manage the company's scoring output as well as contribute to the team's songwriting and ideation processes Seeking someone who knows composing, orchestration and arrangement, with a familiarity in a variety of styles and sounds, including but not limited to: orchestral, pop, comedy, and animation. Bonus points for Ableton knowledge, contemporary songwriting sensibilities, and a willingness to take notes with grace. Part time, independent contracting work will be paid $20/hour, leading up to a $40-50k salary based on experience once full time. Health benefits and paid time off included.
