I am being stalked!

I have been stalked by a women for the past year. I made the mistake of inviting her into my home then she just wouldn't leave. She basically went on a full out rant to my face about how horrible I was, knowing me for 24 hours. She said she would blackmail me, call the cops on me and "tell everyone about me", whatever that means. She said she wished she had a gun so she could kill me then kill herself. She has followed me around for the past year. I hear her at least once a week shouting something. Or she will say my name louder and louder until I here her and react. She has compromised my phone and computer in order to "monitor me day and night" I don't know what she wants. I don't know how to get her to stop. I don't know why she is obsessed with me but it is scary. She needs me to know that she is close and still hunting me. She even followed me in broad daylight as if to say I'm still stalking you. She has others helping her too. I don't know what she says to get the help, but no one has told me what this is all about. I have tried again and again to talk. I have tried to understand why someone would stalk me for a year. I just don't get it. Please help me legally resolve this issue. Do you have any ideas? Have you been stalked? What did you do? I have been desperate to deescalate the situation. What would you do if you where stalked by someone you only met once?
