Howdy all- I am a fairly recent transplant from beautiful southern Oregon to this terrifying metropolis. I am having a *very* hard time deciphering human behavior and motives in Portland and have reached a brick wall. I am hoping some patient individual in Portland-crazy-pants-land world be willing to chat with me, perhaps offer some insight into urban societal norms. Please refrain by responding just to tell me this is the stupidest post ever and I am more worthless than dirt. Thank you, I am already aware of my social standing amongst you city folk. Help!
