If you are a skilled woodworker and ready to move out of your garage shop we have a project you may be interested in. Jajapdx is a maker space and artist Haven housed in a 20,000sf warehouse in SE Portland. We have an amazing building and we are looking for initial investors in a high end woodworking shop with 20 members or less. We are asking for a $2,500 investment from 12 skilled woodworkers. 100% of the investment will go straight to tool purchase. This investment will give you full access to the shop for 1 year. We are limiting the number of members to ensure accessibility and maintenance of the machines. We are artists and woodworkers who work with restaurants, world famous chefs, small businesses, and commission work. We love to make stuff and want to create an environment not easily replicated by an individual practitioner or a small business. We want to get some great tools: dust collection, 25" planer, joiner, table saw... and more. We will also have two professional laser engravers on site and most likely a CNC.
