South Carolina Solar Project (SCSP) is a family-owned and operated solar company based in Charleston, S.C. Established in 2017, SCSP is deliberate about designing tailored installations paired with an optimal customer experience. Since its inception, SCSP has grown exponentially and we are currently seeking experienced solar panel installers. This individual will be working alongside solar technicians and is responsible for the construction and installation of the solar panel system. An ideal candidate is well-versed in the PV solar installation process. What you’ll need to work at SCSP: - Work closely alongside the team constructing, installing, and commissioning solar panel systems. - Complete all required documentation of the project as directed including photos, testing data, and proper cleanup. - Travel to job sites and meet with plan checkers and inspectors as necessary. - Maintain current industry standards, codes, and training to install solar panels. - Document in the CRM on customer accounts as work is completed in real-time. - Foster positive relationships with customers and other technicians, problem-solve concerns. Delegate to the appropriate party if necessary. - Troubleshoot technical issues. - Provide technical support to customers and instill confidence in the services rendered. What you’ll need to succeed with SCSP: - Minimum 1+ year experience as an on-site solar installer and/or solar service technician. - Expertise in solar PV installation including all tools and equipment utilized in the residential and commercial process. - Punctuality. - Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent organizational skills. - Ability to establish and maintain working relationships through effective communication. - High level of integrity and character. Impeccability with your word. - Computer savvy and experience with customer relationship management software, Google, Dropbox, and email applications. - Any solar certifications or licenses, NABCEP, Licensed Electrician, or Solar Panel Installer will be highly considered. Generac, Solaredge, and Enphase certified/ trained will be highly considered. - Valid driver's license with no driving record, own a car, and live in SC or be willing to relocate.
