Seeking a full-time Maintenance Mechanic in Kailua-Kona. The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for installing, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical equipment, forklifts, tractors, and company vehicles. This is the ideal position for people that like to start and finish their workday early! (808)329 0124 Hours Full-time, Monday to Friday, 6:00am-3:30pm (occasional weekends as needed) Location Kailua-Kona, Big Island Pay $18 an hour, client is willing to pay more depending on experience Responsibilities Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair process plant and field mechanical equipment. Overhaul pumps, motors, gear reducers, fans, and other mechanical equipment. Operate and maintain shop equipment, forklifts, tractors, and company vehicles. Perform inspections to ensure that equipment is in proper condition. Maintain records and reports. Respond to emergency after-hour calls as needed. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Trade school or technical training in mechanical trade preferable. Minimum 3 years of experience in repair and maintenance of process or industrial equipment. Forklift experience a plus. Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints. Good computer literacy and working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Valid drivers license required. Interested?
