Talton Brothers Band with Special Guest Michelle Cupwe Live at Gloria's The Gloria Faye Dingus Music Alliance is pleased to welcome the Talton Brothers Band to Gloria's Listening Room. Talton Brothers Band - Formed in Winchester, VA by Rob Talton and Michael Garcia...The two songwriters equally steeped in the musical roots of American rock, blues, jazz, and gospel, collaborated many times; as Garcia has engineered and produced all but two of Rob Talton’s discography working with some of the most sought-after Studio Musicians in the world - Adam Nitti, Scott Bernard, Jason Palmer, Anthony Sallee, Steve Brewster, Jonathan Crone, and Josh Matheny in Nashville. Talton also played on two tracks from Garcia’s “RAEN” project as well, and has written and recorded with his former band, “Changed” in Muscle Shoals at the “World Famous” FAME Recording Studio. “Talton Brothers Band” has a unique sound that combines elements of American rock, soul, jazz, and the blues. The sound is big despite being a 4-piece band and harkens back to the sounds of some of their biggest influences; The Allman Brothers Band, ZZ Top, The Beatles, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Tom Petty, Joe Bonamassa, Doyle Bramhall II, Bob Seger, Cream, and more... In pursuit of their ideal sound driven by top-notch musicianship, Talton and Garcia put together a musical collaboration behind the freight-train force of veteran drummer - Donnie Gray and bassist - Schuyler Allen creating their rock-solid rhythm section. Rob Talton plays keyboards and provides soulful Lead Vocals. Michael Garcia adds his electrifying guitar playing...and the band also features guest vocals by the amazing Michelle (Kern) Dupwe of The Brandy Stills Band and The Piedmont Symphony Orchestra. Tickets are $20 and advance purchase is highly recommended. Children 12 and under admitted free with parent or guardian. Doors open at 7:30 and the concert will begin at 8pm. Beer, wine, and light snacks will be available for purchase.
