A community Shop & Stroll together with our furry friends. Join us for a fun evening of connection with neighbors, shop owners, and friends! When one comes to visit the town of Wellesley, MA, it doesn't take long for them to realize that it's full of dog-loving folk. Everywhere you turn, you see a local walking their happy pups outside, year-round. What's a Passeggiata?In Italy, there's an unspoken tradition of the daily "passeggiata" (translates to 'walk or stroll') where locals come out to the main streets for a casual walk where they are able to meet and greet their friends and neighbors and check in on their local business owners. It's a simple tradition that knits together a small town and breathes life into the community on a regular basis. Inspired by such a beautiful tradition and Wellesley's love for their beloved furry friends, we are organizing the first-ever "Puppy Passegiatta"! How it WorksPlease take a moment to RSVP so that we can formulate a rough headcount for the event. This event is FREE for all to attend. Spread the word to your fellow dog-lovers in and around the Wellesley area — the more the merrier! Between 5–7 PM on the evening of Thursday, February 10th, come to Wellesley Square with your furbabies (on a leash) for a casual Shop & Stroll. Parking is available on the street and in the neighboring public lots. Enjoy meeting new and old friends, pop into participating shops to see what's new. Look for the blue and green balloons on the door to know which locations your dog is welcome to enter. 10% of all sales will be donated to Buddy Dog Humane Society.
