Hi there, I'm a drummer. I recently lost my rehearsal space and would love to find a new one, as well as meet other Bellingham-area musicians. My background is in experimental projects, but I'm studying jazz right now and love listening to different genres. Jazz is motivating me to learn, but it's not the only thing I'm into playing. I am definitely learning and wouldn't pass myself off as accomplished, but can offer a solid beat, and am happy to stay in the pocket to support improvisation. It's a lot of fun to see where projects can go, and I love unusual combinations - I'm particularly keen to play with a saxophonist or traditional instruments from other cultures. I am enthusiastic about meeting people of all identities. I am mid-30's, identify as male, straight, use he/him pronouns. If you're out there and want to meet somebody new and connect musically or perhaps rent a space together or, it could be worth getting in touch!
