Fantastic power tools, designer handbags, and experiences and items will be featured at the February 10 "Tool & Purse Bingo." Fantastic power tools, designer handbags, and experiences and items will be featured at the February 10 "Tool & Purse Bingo" to benefit Putnam County Habitat for Humanity. The event will include a 50/50 raffle and basket raffles packed with items donated and created by local businesses, experiences, and artisans. Tickets are $35 each. Those reserving a table for 8 may decorate their table for a chance to win a special prize. Doors will open at 5 p.m. Games begin at 6 p.m. Food will be available to purchase. It’s the perfect date night to celebrate Valentine’s Day with that special someone, family and friends, and help build hope in our community. What makes the PCHFH event different from other bingo games is that games will celebrate those real, rugged hand and power tools that Habitat uses so much by alternating designer handbags with name-brand tools as game prizes. Tool brands include DeWalt, Craftsman, Black and Decker, Milwaukee and Dremel tools are the tool prizes. Designer handbags will include those created by Coach, Michael Kors, Kate Spade, Nanette Lepore, Anne Klein and Steve Madden. All proceeds from the evening will support PCHFH’s new home and critical home repair programs.
