A Literary Evening with authors May Cobb, Stacey Swann and James Wade Join us for an exciting evening with celebrated authors May Cobb, Stacey Swann and James Wade as we discuss their latest books, find out what inspires them to write, what it's like to be an author and much more! Signed copies of each author's books will be available in the store or you can order your copies to be shipped by emailing: salesfloor@larkandowlbooksellers.com This is a hybrid event with limited seating within Lark & Owl Booksellers OR the choice of joining in virtually. You must reserve your seat if you plan to attend in person. The link to attend virtually will be sent out a few days before the event and again the day of. *MASKS ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND THIS EVENT.* Complimentary masks will be provided if you do not have one. Stacey Swann’s debut novel Olympus, Texas (Doubleday) was a Good Morning America Book Club selection, an Indie Next Pick, and was longlisted for The Center for Fiction First Novel Prize. Swann holds an M.F.A. from Texas State University and was a Stegner Fellow at Stanford University. Her writing has appeared in LitHub, Electric Literature, NER Digital, Epoch, and other journals. She splits her time between Austin and Lampasas. James Wade lives and writes in the Texas Hill Country with his wife and daughter. His debut novel, All Things Left Wild, won the Western Writers of America Spur Award for Best Historical Novel and the MPIBA’s Reading the West Award for Best Debut Fiction. His second novel, River, Sing Out, was released in the summer of 2021 from Blackstone Publishing. James is also a winner of the Writers’ League of Texas Manuscript Contest, and a finalist of the Tethered by Letters Short Fiction Contest. May Cobb earned her MA in literature from San Francisco State University, and her essays and interviews have appeared in the Washington Post, the Rumpus, Edible Austin, and Austin Monthly. Her previous novel is The Hunting Wives. A Texas native, she lives in Austin with her family.
