Charity Dinner & Silent Auction to Support the Bee Cave/ Lakeway Community After missing last year’s fun and fund-raising event, Lake Travis Lions Club is looking forward to hosting our Charity Fat Tuesday Spaghetti Supper and Silent Auction. This year’s event will be held at the Parish Life Center in Emmaus Catholic Church at 1718 Lohmans Crossing Rd in Lakeway on March 1 from 5pm to 7pm. We will be following strict Covid-19 practices during our preparations and throughout the entire process. The meal will be the same as always – complete with spaghetti, meatballs, salad, dessert, and non-alcoholic beverage. If dining in, you are welcome to BYOB or BYOW! Or, take advantage of our take-out service. Purchase dinner tickets at the door at $10.00 per adult and $8.00 per child. We are asking you to check with your elderly or confined neighbors since we will not be making home deliveries. All proceeds of the dinner and silent auction will go to this year’s beneficiary, 12:31. Founded by Mike Dahlhauser, 12:31 is a Facebook group which has raised over $180,000 in less than a year to give back to the Lake Travis area though his projects that include Summer Meal Program, Teacher Support, General Community Outreach, Youth Sports and more. Last year, Bee Cave recognized Mike Dahlhauser as volunteer of the year. We are hoping that nearby citizens and businesses will donate gift cards, gift baskets or other items for the silent auction.
