Please help celebrate the beautiful life of Dorothy Dolan Dorothy Dolan was born in Jamestown New York to John Swanson and Emma Johnson; siblings Millie, Gilbert, Doris, and Alice Swanson. Shortly after birth, her mother passed and her Aunt raised her. Dorothy met her first husband Richard Vick, they had one child, Eileen Annette. Richard had an untimely death shortly after Eileen was born. Dorothy re-married Theodore Dolan who adopted Eileen and they were blessed with 4 more children: Gail, David, Kay and Tim. She is survived by 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Dorothy was extremely loved by her family and was thought of as the ‘soul’ of the family. She is the strongest woman surviving breast cancer twice, a stroke and a hip replacement at 98. She was extraordinary and lived a wonderful life raising an adoring family who will never forget the life she lived and the love she gave to all. Dorothy Rose Dolan died of natural causes at the age of 99, on January 20th, 2022, surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was most loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
