Free heart screenings for youth ages 14-18 at Texas Tech Physicians in Amarillo in partnership with The Heart Hospital of Northwest Texas.
February is American Heart Month, a time when all people can focus on their cardiovascular health. At Texas Tech Physicians Pediatrics and The Heart Hospital at Northwest Texas Healthcare System, we are encouraging youth to remember to take care of their hearts, too! Join us for a special event for youth ages 14-18 where they can get a FREE cardiac screening. Underlying heart abnormalities can go undetected without the presence of symptoms. Oftentimes, active teenagers appear healthy so reported symptoms may be overlooked by physicians.
Heart screenings will be offered in 15 minute intervals.
