Come and have the FIRST TASTE of a new collaborative beer from Anaheim’s own Brewery X + Sir Owlverick’s Coffee: VIETNAMESE COFFEE STOUT. This beer was brewed just in time for the Lunar New Year. 2022 is the Year of the Tiger and is all about making big changes; a year of risk-taking and adventure! The VIETNAMESE COFFEE STOUT is the first of its kind and was created through conversations between Brewery X Chief Brewing Officer Trevor Walls and Owlverick’s Founder Amy Tang. After sampling many coffees and beers together, the duo conceptualized the Vietnamese Coffee Stout because it combined complementary flavors that best represented the two Anaheim-based companies. “The Vietnamese Coffee Stout was a true collaboration and fusion of culture- not just Asian and American, but also craft beer and coffee. Trevor (Walls) and I wanted it to be both authentic AND tasty- I think it is!” said Tang. Traditionally, Vietnamese Coffee is brewed with a dark roasted blend of robusta and arabica coffee beans to create a rich flavor that is balanced with sweetened condensed milk (also known as Cà Phê Sữa Đá). Using a special roast of Owlverick’s “Saigon Nights” coffee, a unique Brewery X milk stout base and an infusion of nitrogen gas, the VIETNAMESE COFFEE STOUT has all of the milky smoothness and bold chocolatey flavor of Vietnamese Coffee in perfect beer form. Join us from 6-8pm to celebrate the launch of this collaborative brew and enjoy Vietnamese-inspired eats crafted by @x__eats. The first 10 RSVP’s on Eventbrite will receive a complimentary VIETNAMESE COFFEE STOUT (16oz) on the day of the event.
