FREE Stop the Bleed First Aid Class, learn how to place a tourniquet and some other not-so-basic first aid that can help SAVE A LIFE! This Stop the Bleed First Aid class is part of a national initiative to educate and inform communities on tourniquet use and bleeding control in order to prevent deaths due to blood loss during traumatic injuries or disasters. You do NOT need to be a medical professional to attend, this is for everyone. (recommended age 12+) We never want to think of ourselves in a emergency situation, but it is better to know what to do in the event you are. What you will learn; - How to use a tourniquet - How to apply a pressure dressing - How to stop massive bleeding from the arms and legs - Some basic anatomy and physiology - Extra first aid tips and tricks Sometimes band aids are just not enough.
