NEW PORT RICHEY, FL — The Pasco County Sheriff's Office and New Port Richey police are investigating a fatal shooting in the area of Massachusetts Avenue and Washington Street at the edge of New Port Richey city limits. According to the sheriff's office, there was an argument between two acquaintances Friday that escalated, leading to one person shooting and killing the other. The sheriff's office has the shooter in custody.
