.Looking for these types of musicianship skills: Energy and drive lots of motivation Always come prepared for gigs and rehearsals Strong vocals and musical skills Singing harmonies when your not singing lead Got to have plenty of band and gig experience Please be professional with a good attitude Definitely be on time to gigs and rehearsals if you can’t we’ll find someone else Know a lot of songs and can quickly learn new songs we don’t provide or use charts but not opposed to it either Have a open mind about songs you’ll play not stuck on one style but our niche is Rock You can gel and get along with everyone in the band we’re easy going guys Good to have some basic music theory like knowing the names of the chords you play, chord progressions soloing etc. Play as close to note for note on signature licks and as faithful to the songs as possible we do embellish a bit we’re not closed minded it’s our best version. Attend rehearsals once a week 11am to 3pm on Sundays we also meet up on other days providing schedules permitting for vocal rehearsals and recording originals. Equipment wise: We use IEMs and prefer you also use IEMs and small combo amps or go directly to the mixer we are not a loud band. Where do we rehearse: Rehearse in Broomfield near 120th and Federal area What we’re not looking for: Beginners sorry but not sorry we just don’t want that chore in the band to teach you Folks who don’t have time to practice on there own or have the time to be in a band are not it. Aren’t motivated or have a good attitude on most days Can’t get along with most people most of the time maybe you should go solo A package deal we may not want to bring you on board but like the other player Husband and wife boy friend girl friend nope not a fit Complainers not welcome Don’t have your own gear come on really! Don’t like writing originals And don’t like playing covers songs If you fit any of these descriptions your not a good fit but thanks. Singers: Looking for Male and female lead singers to help cover a wide variety of entertaining music that isn’t on our list already. Jeff and I sing leads on all of the songs on our list currently but wanting to add a female lead and a male lead doing songs that your able to sing well and a good range of styles you like. We plan on including the songs you bring to the table to our list. We play what the singers in the band can sing and no songs are off the table unless we don’t do a good rendition of it and always up for discussion. A plus if you play keys or other instruments but please don’t mention it if your not able to play them well. Send us examples of what you like singing in your reply. Don’t care about lyric sheets but not looking for a karaoke singer either. Guitar players: We’re looking for a guitarist who plays rhythm and leads and sings. Using a small combo amp or going directly to the mixer is preferred ( Axe, Kemper, Line 6 amp sims). A plus if you play keys or other instruments but please don’t mention it if your not able to play them well. A guitar players guitarist is what looking for personally a complimentary style to mine is desirable but also diverse in other styles. Singing lead and backups is preferred but able to sing harmonies is a plus. We play all songs in the original key and guitar tunings such as standard and flat tuning and drop D. About us: We are 3 piece bass, drums, lead guitar 2 of us sing lead and backups have a set list of 60 songs. We been together since July 2021no gigs yet we’re still working on some songs and developing the set list. Age is 50-65 we mostly want to find the best fit. Dennis plays acoustic and E drums doesn’t sing has experience both in local bands and The Navy band performing for two Presidents he can read charts, Jeff plays bass and many other instruments has played in many local bands sings lead and backups has many basses he uses he doesn’t read charts but develops his own and me Tim I play lead and rhythm guitar, keyboards, 5 string bass and sing lead and backups I can read charts also am a freelance sound tech working with many local bands. Open for fill in players but really want to find permanent core players. If your interested in fill in please send your contact information and a copy of songs you can sing or play we will keep it on file just in case we need a fill in. We can send a set list for you to look over. We’re not looking to be just a bar band our set list covers bars, weddings, corporate, private parties type of songs. We do use backing tracks on a few songs in general we rather not use to many tracks prefer to have most of the instruments covered. I can send you our list of songs to those that are interesting to us and seem to be a good fit so please reply with your information or we may pass you up. The songs we cover are 60-70-80-90 rock styles classic rock southern rock 60s rock you get the idea but be popular and hit songs are sing along or danceable fun tunes anything to promote fun laughter and dancing. We will be incorporating your songs that you sing and play also together with the originals that you write. Creative minds needed. We also play originals and you must be into playing original songs. We write some together and we also write individually but our main focus is to play covers pop, dance, classic rock, hard rock, country rock, 60-70-80-90s current hits not just one style or genre only requirement must be Rocking. We are serious about recording our music for profit and for fun to do besides covers it brings out our creativity. Would like to have high participation in the song writing process and other music opportunities. Communication; We strive to have good communication amongst ourselves and send out weekly updates by email calling when necessary and keeping text short but to the point. A calendar is kept for gigs and other scheduled time off and we discuss all things pertaining to participation and music we play. No bs behind the scene if you need to say it we’ll listen within reason of course nobody likes a complainer. We would like to be open, honest, friendly and encourage friendships in the band.
