Join us for a Black History Mural Tour in the Fairhill neighborhood. Six murals depict the struggles and stories of our neighbors.
Historic Fair Hill will be hosting a Mural Tour for the Second Saturday in February (2/12/22).
History Educator, Carolyn Singleton, will share the stories and struggles depicted in the six wall murals around the burial ground as we reflect on and take action around Black History Month.
Learn about major events, connections to today, and the people that called Fairhill/Philadelphia home. Join us as we learn about their contributions in the fight for an equitable future.
Free tours will be held at 12pm, 1pm, and 2pm at 2901 Germantown Ave. Email [email protected] for more info.
Historic Fair Hill is a peace making green space in North Philadelphia. It uses the burial ground of great human rights activists to carry forward their work for justice and peace through greening, school partnerships, and community events.
