Sea-Level Rise in the Classroom
Explore sea-level rise science from the intersection of social and environmental issues. This full-day interactive workshop introduces science and social studies educators to the "Sea-Level Rise in the Classroom" curriculum. This curriculum fosters science-to-civics literacy through a high school curriculum focused on sea-level rise resilience and community-driven solutions.
This workshop is for Florida high school science and social studies educators. We welcome classroom teachers, informal educators, homeschool educators, curriculum specialists, and more. If you are interested in using the lessons with your students or sharing with other educators, please register.
All workshop participants will receive a $100 stipend, 6 in-service hours, and lunch.
