Cape Woman, 47, Killed In Route 6 Crash

WELLFLEET, MA — A 47-year-old Cape Cod woman died in a crash on Route 6 in Wellfleet, according to police. Police said they discovered the crash around 7 a.m., Sunday, in the area of Route 6 and Old Wharf Road. Officers found one car off the road and laying on its side. The driver, Juliette Brown, of Eastham, was ruled dead at the scene. Police said evidence suggests the car left the northbound lane of the street and rolled over into someone's driveway. The crash may have happened earlier in the morning, but wasn't visible because of darkness, police said. The car was discovered at daylight and was reported immediately to Wellfleet police. Anyone who may have heard or witnessed anything suspicious in the area between 1 a.m. and 7 a.m., is asked to called Wellfleet police at 508-349-3702.
