EAST HAMPTON, NY — Three men were arrested and charged after a man was assaulted with a pool cue, punched and kicked in Wainscott Friday night, police said.
According to East Hampton Town Police, the incident took place at 9:30 p.m. on Industrial Road. Anthony Reyes, 19, of Central Islip, was arrested and charged with second-degree assault, intent to cause physical injury with a weapon or instrument, a felony, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, intent to use, a misdemeanor, police said.
Reyes, while acting with Raffi Boyadjian, 27, of Flushing, and Michael Hernandez, 29, of Woodside, struck the person with a pool cue while the other two men restrained and physically hit him, police said. The man suffered abrasions to the left arm and lacerations to the head and eye, causing significant pain and bleeding and requiring medical attention, police said.
Boyadjian was arrested and charged with second-degree assault, intent to cause physical injury with a weapon or instrument, a felony; he restrained the man while he was punched, kicked and struck with the pool cue, police said.
Hernandez was arrested and charged with second-degree assault, intent to cause physical injury with a weapon or instrument; he grabbed and punched the man while he was being attacked with the pool cue, restrained and physically attacked, police said.
All three were released on their own recognizance, police said.
