NEW MILFORD, CT — Traffic lights throughout New Milford will soon get new lamps with longer life expectancies, town Mayor Pete Bass said. The Connecticut Department of Transportation will re-lamp traffic lights in several towns throughout the state, including New Milford, transportation officials told Bass. The streetlights that have LCD lamps with a life expectancy of eight years will be replaced with new ones with a life expectancy of 15 years, Bass said. Bass said he'll provide updates on the timeline of the replacements as they become available. New Milford roads getting new lights for their streetlights are: Route 7/Pickett DistrictSunny ValleyRoute 109 and ChestnutlandRailroad Street/BridgeGrove/MainRoute 7/Sullivan RoadRoute 7 and Peglar RoadRoute 7/Home DepotRoute 7/Still RiverRoute 7 Dodd Road
