LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — Several crimes were reported over the weekend in Loudoun County, including assaults, scams, and thefts. Here's a round-up of the most recent incidents, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office's daily incident report. Around 1 p.m. on Saturday, deputies responded to the Dulles Town Center mall in Sterling for a reported traffic altercation. The complainant told police that while they were attempting to pull into a parking spot, another vehicle tried to park in the same spot. The other driver exited their vehicle and threw a wrench at the complainant's vehicle, but they missed, police said. Last week, deputies responded to a local hospital to take a report from a man who said he was assaulted by someone he knew. The assault occurred around 6 p.m. on Tuesday, and the victim reported injuries from the assault. On Sunday, a suspect turned himself in at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center. The suspect, who police identified as 19-year-old Jordan Mack, was released with a $10,000 requirement if he misses a court date. In Ashburn on Sunday afternoon, a woman told police that she was assaulted, choked, and held against her will by someone she knew. The victim claimed that the suspect did not all0w her to leave the house. Deputies located the suspect, Michael Brown, at the home and placed him under arrest. He is charged with assault, strangulation, and kidnapping. He is being held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center. In Sterling, a car was stolen from the side of the road after it broke down last week, police said. A man told police that he left his car on Harry Byrd Highway and called a mechanic to pick it up. The man said he left his keys in the glovebox and left the car unlocked, according to the police report. The vehicle, a 2007 InfinitiG5, was gone before the mechanic could pick it up.
