PARAMUS, NJ — A suspect in the theft of 10 Range Rovers from a Paramus dealership last fall has been charged, police said. Paramus Police began their investigation September 7, when an unknown person broke into Jaguar Land Rover of Paramus on Route 17 and took 10 Range Rovers. The theft, which happened early in the morning, amounted to more than $470,000 according to police. Dion Wiggins, 21, of Newark was charged Jan. 12 in connection with these thefts, Paramus Police said. Wiggins was charged with burglary, theft, and nine counts of conspiracy to commit theft. Police booked and charged Wiggins at the Monmouth County Jail, where he was serving a sentence for charges out of Shrewsbury, jail records show. The New Jersey State Police's Auto Theft Task Force (ATTF) and Paramus Police have recovered eight of the 10 stolen vehicles. Seven of them were in New Jersey, and the eighth was in the Bronx, New York.
