Press release from the City of Austin: January 20, 2022 Case: 21-3300918 Date: November 26, 2021 Time: 6:02 p.m. Location: 3311 Esperanza Xing (Macy's) The Austin Police Department (APD) Robbery Unit is requesting public assistance with identifying a suspect's involvement in a robbery that occurred at the Macy's located at 3311 Esperanza Xing on November 26, 2021. The suspects, whose description and photo are included below, entered the Macy's selected various clothing items, and went to exit the store. The suspect assaulted a loss prevention employee who attempted to stop him as he was trying to leave without paying.
