MANHATTAN, IL — Mother Nature is throwing some seriously cold weather Manhattan's way to start the new year. Manhattan residents who need to warm up can do so at: Manhattan Community Meeting Room at Village Hall, 260 Market Place. (815) 418-2100.Open 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Masks are required.The latest weather predictions on AccuWeather, snow and hazardous travel conditions are expected for the Monday morning commute with a winter weather advisory in effect until noon. Total snow accumulations could be 2 to 3 inches. The high for Monday is predicted to be 32 degrees with a low of 4. It will be colder Tuesday with a high of just 14 and a low of minus 10. Wednesday's high is 11 with a low of 5. More snow could be on the way Thursday looks even with a high of 35 and a low of 7.
